If you’re considering living at Lark, think carefully about the management you’ll be dealing with. My experience with the manager, Valentina, has been frustrating and disappointing. I’ve found her communication rude and dismissive, with little willingness to acknowledge concerns, take responsibility, or provide clear answers. During the move-in period, several of my friends who were transferring between units had an unnecessarily difficult experience dealing with her. A process that needed coordination and support became a source of stress.

Absolutely terrible housing. Moved into a disgusting apartment that was clearly not cleaned after not being able to move in early so they could “clean”. We also moved in to missing and broken furniture. Security was beyond rude to us when we called about a power outage stating it “wasn’t their issue and they weren’t doing anything about it”. Absolutely terrible management. The only good part about this place is their maintenance guy Anderson. Despite there only being 2 maintenance guys for 3 buildings, he is the sweetest and is very attentive with the time he has.

UPDATED REVIEW SINCE MOVING OUT 7/31/26: I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and while there has been a change in management, my experience here has still been subpar. I honestly wouldn’t recommend. Fall 2024: I’ve only been here for two months and my experience has been absolutely terrible. This place deserves zero stars. Let’s start off with how the shuttle bus has broken down literallly EVERY week since the semester started. Can you believe that the bus was down on the FIRST day of classes?! I can’t believe it either.
